Middle Yegua Creek Watershed: Community Engagement Continues

The July Middle Yegua Creek Watershed Protection Plan meeting was well attended and featured an informative discussion on PFAS. Special thanks to Dr. Yina Liu from Texas A&M for sharing her insights on these forever chemicals.
The Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District continues to play an active role as a member of the Middle Yegua Creek Watershed Protect Plan Working Group. These collaborative meetings help shape conservation priorities and water quality projects for our region.
The next Working Group meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th at 10:00 AM at the Lee County AgriLife Extension Office. All interested residents, landowners, and community partners are welcome to attend.
